My approach to staff management is to provide clear direction, expectations, and deadlines. I hold my staff accountable for mistakes but more often, we celebrate success. I train my staff with the knowledge I have and include documentation to help further their professional growth. I encourage them to learn more on their own, fully support teamwork, and collaboration.

I provide the strategic goals and the technical details we will need to keep a project moving forward. I develop a respectful, collaborative, professional relationship with vendors to make sure they understand and respect a projects' priority and any special needs.

Developing a new project takes not only building a strategy to meet the expectations of key stakeholders, but also understanding the technical detail that is involved. Assigning qualified resources or taking on the project myself and assigning deadlines to each step. Providing regular non-technical communication to key stakeholders so that they can understand the direction and status. Good communication also allows stakeholders to provide their own expert input, which is key to a successful project and ultimately, a satisfied client.
